I attempted to try and incorporate plaits,buns and adornments into the hair. I chose a ribbon and knew i wanted to try and weave it in and out of my french plait. Next time i do it i will attempt to get the alignment of the ribbon more even. I also attempted a modern type of bun, however i thought that the overall hairstyle ended up looking more like a cheerleader than a contemporary twist on Elizabethan hair.
I am going to practice different types of plaits and buns in order to create a hairstyle that looks a little bit more appropriate to the Elizabethan era.
