My first hair design involves the same heart shape as all my other designs. With the rest of the hair i wanted to plait the 2 sides and take it across the middle of the head. These plaits needed to be loose and loose like the overall look of my designs. With the remaining hair i want to leave it down at the back of the neck. The plaits are inspired by the elizabethan era however to give it a contemporary twist i pulled out the plaits making them wider and messier.

Start off by sectioning the hair into a middle parting and from behind the ear to create the heart shapes. I didn't want to use padding in the hair as i wanted the look of the rolls to be messy and soft.

Then creating two regular plaits on the left and right side of the head bringing them over the back of the head to the opposite side, but pulling the hair looser out of the plait, this shows the modern side of the design.

The remaining hair at the bottom is to be straightened and left down.
