These are a selection of photos that have influenced my final designs.

I love the heart shaped hair styles as this has been influenced by the Elizabethan era, yet they have put a a contemporary feel to it. That is what i wanted to try and achieve in my final design.

Some of the hairstyles are very messier and voluminous. This has been achieved by backcombing which is how i wanted to create the heart shapes within my design, then the overall look would be a lot more soft and less rigid and shaped.

Also, the modern take on a roll at the back of the head looked really put together to me and contrasted  the messy voluminous look of the heart shapes.

These are the 3 things that i wanted to incorporate in my final design.
