My final design was a heart shaped up do with a roll at the back. The first 2 images are my hair chart and the practice that i did on a kate head.

I was not happy with the end result of the assessment, everything was fine until the roll at the back. She did not backcomb it and pin it to the head. She used curlers and left it down, that was not in my hair design at all.

The reason that this happened was because my partner didnt turn up to any of the lessons before the assessment so she never practiced the design on me or discussed how i wanted it to look and what could be changed. She told me that she had been practicing on the kate head so it would be fine.

I would have liked to been able to practice with her because i wanted to see if i could change it at all or if sh had any ideas how to make things easier etc, i was also looking to put supra colour in the hair but i didnt know how long it would take her to do the hair style as well as add the supra colour so i couldn't adapt my design.

I think the lack of practice and communication really took an effect on the assessment and i felt really disappointed with the end result as i wanted my design to come out well.
