These images are from the final assessment. I think that the overall design turned out well, and i believe that Philippa was happy with the end result that i achieved.

The main issue for me in the assessment was the french plait at the front of the head. The hair seemed even shorter there since i practiced it and it was even more difficult to plait and get all the pieces of hair in the braid, whilst keeping it neat and the sections even.

I think that the sectioning went better than when i first tried the design in my practice session. I tried to keep the hair a lot neater and use my pintail comb to create even and smooth sections for my french plait.

It was hard working from someone else's design as even though we did practice i think it could have been hard to discuss what could go better because people feel a little embarrassed to tell other people what to do.

I only had one practice at this design as she did not turn up for lessons to practice & i only got her design the week of the assessment so i couldn't practice on my kate head. This was difficult for me, because i didn't feel like we could improve the design at all.

I think she could have explained what she wanted done with the side pieces of hair and the hair that didn't fit into the buns and i believe this makes the look a lot messier and i would have liked ot have done something to the remaining hair.
